B613 Maitenance, Rudder positioning

Today the new rudder was put into place. It is always great to see all the carpenters working on their real size boats.

Here with the B613 that they have known for so long, lifting in position the large rudder just seams so easy, executed in a matter of minutes.

The art of ship carpentry, from individual parts detail preparation to the overall assembly,  leads to an amazing  final result. Those men are truly artist in their own way, but no drawings needed, just a feel, a vision of the final, a beautiful knowledge…
